Confirmation, the completion of the Sacrament of Baptism-Confirmation was administered to nine young people and adults on Sunday, October 17th at the 11am Holy Mass.

On Saturday Sept. 4, 2021 Aaron Cuizon Bardowell, son of Wayne A. Bardowell and Jane B. Cuizon received the Sacrament of Baptism. Proud godparents were Stephen Bradbury Sr. and Judith Sledgianowski. We congratulate Bardowell, Cuizon families, relatives and friends on this special occasion.
Ayden is a handsome and kind 4-year-old who was recently diagnosed with (ALL) Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Despite receiving an aggressive chemotherapy and blood transfusions, he remains strong with a smile on his face. His parents, both, NYC first responders, and his older sister, hold his hand as he begins this road of battling and defeating cancer! On Tuesday August 3rd, the Holy Cross Parish participated in Woodland Park’s National Night Out (NNO). We had an eventful evening meeting and greeting our local neighbors as well as our parishioners. Father Joseph, Natalie Cyman, and Paul Murphy handed out free bottles of water, the Tricky Tray flyers, sold 50/50 tickets and offered our Welcome flyers for our local residents.
NNO – is a national event since 1984 a community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships AGAINST DRUG, CRIME AND ALCOHOL ABUSE. National Night Out helps create crime prevention awareness in the neighborhood through a multitude of events, such as block parties, cookouts, parades, contests, youth events and seminars.
