Works of Mercy – Feeding and Clothing

We thank parishioners who donated non-perishable items for the food bank, as well as winter clothing such as coats, scarves, gloves, sweatshirts, and more for the needy. Also, I thank students, their parents who prepared sandwiches, and packages with winter clothing. They were delivered to the homeless in Paterson on a very cold Sunday, January 30th. Despite freezing weather we met several people who appreciated our service performed in the name of our Savior. Remaining items were delivered to Eva’s Shelter.

God Bless Tyler and Nicole

Congratulations to Tyler Smith and Nicole Piotrowski on their special day in which the Holy Church joined them together in the Sacrament of Marriage held on January 21st. We congratulate their parents Paul and Linda and Dariusz and Teresa. Proud witnesses were John and Agnes. We pray for Tyler and Nicole and for all married couples, for their faithfulness to each other and for their loving service of the Gospel. Gracious God, your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, poured forth blessings on the wedding couple at Cana. Look with kindness on Tyler and Nicole. May they cherish one another and be inspired by Your love and through them, may Your Church be blessed.

Christmas Dinner Thank You.

On Sunday, December 12th, dozens of parishioners attended our annual Christmas Dinner. The children and all attendees enjoyed Christmas music and a great menu provided by Francesco’s Restaurant. We thank all those who came for this event, especially parents for bringing their children. Because the children of Holy Cross are very special, Santa Claus came and gave them goodies asking them to listen and help their parents and behave well. Special appreciation to Santa for coming this year, Renata Cyman who decorated the hall, Natalie Lazar who gave gifts to children, those who served food, did clean up and made that day very special.  Merry Christmas to all!  In the picture are some attendees of Christmas Dinner.
