Youth Camp – Kurs 2019
The Church’s annual youth encampment began on July 4th and lasted through July 13th at the Bishop Hodur Retreat & Recreation Center in Waymart, PA. This year the youth retreat center celebrates its 90th anniversary.

50th Anniversary Blessings
On Sunday July 17, 2016 at 9am Holy Mass William and Judy (nee Bartol) Lamping celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Fr. Joseph said special prayer and blessing on this occasion. Richard Daum presented gift on behalf of Holy Cross Church through the ministry of St. Nicholas Ministry. All parishioners express their wishes for many more years of good health and happiness.

Ś+P Edward M. Minich
I would like to inform you and ask for prayers for our former parishioner Edward M. Minich – age 89 who recently passed away. Visiting hours will be observed Sunday, March 25th from 2-5 PM. His funeral service will be held on Monday, March 26th at 10:30 AM at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne. Interment will follow at Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson.
Ś.P. Edward was the beloved husband of the late Helen (nee: Vietrogoski) Minich – 1996, loving father of Richard J. Minich and his wife Mary Lu of Middlesex, dear grandfather of David and Scott Minich of Middlesex, dearest brother of Estelle Price of North Carolina.
Born and raised in Paterson, Ś.P. Edward lived in Hawthorne from 1950 – 2009 before moving to Highland Park. He was employed as a carrier for the US Postal Service in Paterson and Hawthorne. Mr. Minich was a member of our Parish and was an Army Veteran of WWII.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.
