Join us on Sunday, March 10th at 12 P.M. (after 11 A.M. Holy Mass) for our St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon along with Irish Music.
The menu includes: Corned Beef, Cabbage, Potatoes, Baked Chicken, Variety of Vegetables, Assorted Breads, Irish Soda Bread, Coffee / Tea, Irish Coffee, Desserts. Take outs are available.
Dinners are Adults: $20 Children and youth attending Sunday School – Free. Other Children ages 6 -14 – $10

ur parish held its annual St Patrick’s Day Luncheon on Sunday, March 12th in the parish hall. The menu consisted of Corned Beef, Cabbage, Irish Red Potatoes, Carrots, Baked Chicken – Variety of Vegetables, Assorted Breads, Irish Soda Bread, Homemade Desserts, soft drinks with Irish coffee. The green grab bags were part of the celebration giving an occasion for laughter and fun. Parishioners, friends and neighbors attended. We thank parishioner David Obssuth who headed the kitchen with a staff of church volunteers. We had good food, Irish music and a fun time for all.
Upcoming events are Agape celebration on Sunday, March 26th at 3:30 pm, A Picnic on June 4th (Woodland Park residents are welcome), and our Annual Tricky Tray on Saturday, October 21st.

On Sunday March 20th we hosted a St. Patrick’s Luncheon. During this event we enjoyed music and joyful, laughable entertainment provided by well-known “Uncle Floyd Vivino” The green grab bags donated by Ed and Beverly Obssuth were part of our annual celebration. The drawings of the basket of cheer donated by the Adoration Society, “Basket of Surprise” donated by the Cyman family and 50/50 took place at the end of our celebration. We thank Fr. David and Laurie Gaydos as well as David, Edward Obssuth and some other helpers for preparing the menu consisting of Corned Beef, Cabbage, Irish red potatoes, Baked Chicken – Variety of Vegetables, Assorted Breads / Irish Soda Bread, Homemade Desserts. We thank those who decorated the hall for the event and those who cleaned after the celebration. We thank everyone who attended our annual celebration. Basket of cheer was won by Mary Farrar and the 50/50 winner was John Murdok. Congratulations!!! St. Patrick, bishop, great missionary and patron of Ireland, pray for us!

Our St. Patrick’s Luncheon took place on March 15th. We thank Fr. David Gaydos and Laurie Gaydos for donating the food and preparing the menu consisting of Corned Beef, Cabbage, Irish red potatoes, Baked Chicken – Variety of Vegetables, Assorted Breads / Irish Soda Bread, Homemade Desserts. We thank those who helped in the kitchen before, during and after the event. The green grab bags donated by Ed and Beverly Obssuth were part of the celebration. Ed and Penni were in charge of the drawing giving an occasion for laughter and fun. The drawings of the basket of cheer was donated by our Adoration Society and 50/50 took place at the end of our celebration to profit a young boy Philip S. and his family. During our Luncheon we hosted a special guest. Our parishioner, Mrs. Sophie Barnes, who remembers the ground breaking of Holy Cross in 1926 (Paterson), celebrated her 101-st birthday in the presence of her daughter and grandson. We sung her a well deserved Happy Birthday wishing her God’s blessings in the future. We thank ladies who brought baked goods for the St. Joseph’s table which included special St. Joseph’s cake.
